What can a dermatologist give for acne and what stores sell acne scar treatment

20 patients suffering from mild to moderated acne were studied in that research. There are 17 males and 13 female in the studied group. Alpha-hydroxy acid peel (30% concentration of glycolic acid) was applied on one half of the face, while Beta-hydroxy acid peel (30% concentration of salicylic acid) was applied on the other half of the face of each patient. The treatments are done every two weeks for duration of three months. A non-bias evaluator was used to examine the effectiveness of each acid peels on the reduction of acne. Both the evaluator and the patients did not know which sides of the faces were applied with Alpha-hydroxy acid or Beta-hydroxy acid.
The real acne causes are the build up of dead skin cells inside the pore, excess skin oil called sebum and acne causing bacteria. These three are not factors triggered by the food that we eat. Excessive production of sebum is often caused by overactive sebaceous glands which is common among teenagers. Oily skin is not necessarily a problem. In fact, if you have oily skin you are less likely prone to crows feet and wrinkling since oil helps keep moisture locked into the epidermis. You just need to make sure you make a habit of cleansing your skin with mild cleanser. In most cases the tendency to oily skin is hereditary. If your parents have oily skin and had acne problems during their younger years, you probably got it from them.
Herbal tea does taste good (in my opinion) but can it help acne? Fascinated by the ancient history of the effectiveness different herbs have on acne several studies have been conducted with the hope of understanding in detail, if and how these herbs work. Of course these studies were done as research to possibly make new prescription drugs that can be patented and sold for billions, but we can still benefit from the findings.
